BookSpine is a social startup committed to changing lives, one book at a time. We provide a tech-enabled circular economy platform that brings curated, pre-loved books directly to readers across the Philippines—even in remote areas.
We make it simple for readers to discover books that resonate with them, without the hassle of searching. Whether you’re new to reading, exploring new genres, or looking for books with purpose, our bundles are tailored to suit your journey and delivered to your doorstep.
Through our BookDonate program and BookSpine Kilo Corner store, we rehome thousands of books and offer affordable options by the kilo for book lovers and resellers alike. To date, we’ve rehomed over 50,000 books from landfills. Part of the proceeds from BookDonate also supports children’s literacy through the Read2Achieve Foundation and other partner organizations.
Soon, our AI-powered app will provide personalized book recommendations and connect readers with Filipino-authored books, offering value for both readers and local authors.
